I tried to go on their website to email these dirtbags and suggest they figure out a way to have an amnesty period but I guess their server got whacked or something. If they repo any houses I hope they get the plague from the floodwaters. Really though, businesses are going to have a hard time with stuff like this. It's not really fair to ask companies to keep paying their workers and their health insurance premiums and at the same time ask that they don't collect money they're owed. But equally obvious, how can they expect people to pay? It seems like the gov't need to figure out a really fast New Deal type of jump start/safety net for a devastated economy. Otherwise those dominoes will start toppling pretty quickly. I'm surprised the post office is functional. Or maybe that's their way of offering a grace period.

The ripples through the economy are going to be tremendous. That part of why I'm a little concerned.
