A dad trying to feed his kid?

From the online version of today's Westport News:

"Nicholas D-----, 25, of Trumbull was arrested Sunday and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

According to the report, [Mr.] D----- was arrested on a warrant for allegedly stealing four cans of baby formula from Super Stop & Shop, 1790 Post Road E., in August after being arrested by New Haven Police at 7 p.m. on Sunday for unrelated charges."

I can't find anything about his other arrest, but I did find that someone with the same name, maybe his grandfather, died last spring:

Detuzzi, Nicholas - DETUZZI Nicholas Detuzzi, age 98 of Bridgeport, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Bridgeport Health Care Center. He was the husband ...

That's all I could get without registering.

Are there no prisons, no poorhouses? Come on, cdozo, get into the spirit of the holidays, as well as of these Neoconservative times!
