Damn you're good! Really lovely photos. Maybe time for you to find out what you would have to do to put your pictures to work for you.
Lovely photos except the one for G. Looking at him, I lost my equilibrium!

I love the one of G. So there.
What you have: the instar of a short-horned grasshopper (no wings.) Which instar, I have no idea.
The dragonfly is a male Widow Skimmer. The female is all black and shimmery gold.
The flower is, I believe, one of the wild clematis--need to check, though. Not now.
The bug on flower is really cool. Send it to BugGuide.net, because I want to know what it is, too.
Yellow flower. ADYF. (Another damned yellow flower--Texas has hundreds of yellow Compositae...)

Thanks for the suggestion and the ID's. I think the flower the tiny bug is on is a Bull Nettle. At one point I started to remove all the nettles and thistles from the areas I walk in. But then I saw how many bugs are using them for food during the drought and I backed off.
I set up a BugGuide account and submitted the white faced bug. See http://bugguide.net/node/view/207892/bgimage
