[The frogs are singing |The woman singing that Celtic thing from the Scottish scenes in Highlander]

Yesterday, Owl had a cook-out on the land for Moses and G. She made hot dogs on the grill and the boys rode their bikes. We chatted and walked around the upper meadow. The Chinaberry trees behind the good house were filled with a huge variety of of butterflies who refused to pose for a photograph no matter how long I stood still. There were cardinals in the trees. I had avocado and sliced chedder cheese on a hot dog bun with mustard, chili sauce and relish.

It was really nice.

Sounds like a nice neighborhood. It needs a nice neighborhood association quick, so you can tell everyone not to fly the confederate flag or whatever they do out there.

Hey if you have frogs, join Frogwatch. It doesn't take very long. You just listen and count the frog noises or estimate if there are many or few froggies. Then you find out what the temp was when you made the observation. Fill in the form and you've helped science. Really. Plus it will help provide a baseline for future environmental impact statements when other people try to fight development, or when they try and assess the impact of the drought. Plus plus, it's fun. Gooogle Frogwatch.

If we buy this trailer, the couch turns into a double bed. You guys would be welcome to come visit. It's been in the mid to upper 70's here.
