Here's a couple more critters from last week's walk on the land. I'm pretty sure that the first one is a Monarch Butterfly caterpillar.

I do love the "fan-tail" moths. Wish I was home with my books!! I think I've seen its picture.

Yes, it's definitely a Monarch caterpillar.

Moth ID'd

Apparently this moth is a Melonworm moth (Diaphania hyalinata). See entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/veg/leaf/melonworm.htm.

There is another moth in Asia and Australia that looks very similar that is called Diaphania indica. See www.ozanimals.com/Insect/Cucumber-Moth/Diaphania/indica.html.
