The band has two drummers, a bass player, a rhythm guitar/keyboard
(midi) player, the lead singer/guitar/banjo/keyboard player and a guy who shows up
once in a while to sing harmonies or play violin. Everybody, except the
lead singer, wafts around the stage playing mellowly. The lead
singer is mellow for a bit and then the music will get fierce, and
he'll get really animated and start moving in a angry, jerky, aggressive
kind of way, then he and the music mellow back out. It makes for quite
For the most part, the melodies were all similar and nice. But there
was an occasional loud hard rock jam thrown in for variety. But the
thing this band has is lyrics. The words are great. A lot of the words
were too quiet and mumbled for me to hear. But the words blended nicely
with the music, and the phrases I could understand were great...

You tell me what you want and I’ll tell you what you get.

Since the melodies were all similar, by half way through the evening
the music was comfortably familiar. Then they played the one song I

I'm really glad I went. This is a band to listen to and get to know.
