Test Drive

The Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey are still neck-and-neck, but now Subaru is wayyyy out in front.

Unlike either of the minivans, the Subaru Forester and Outback are both very satisfying to drive and both have really cool gigantic sunroofs. They also both have pretty good ground clearance. The Outback has more bells and whistles, which makes me like the Forester more. The Forester is also a tiny bit cheaper and gets better gas mileage. The Outback has a slightly better sound system, but that's not saying much.

So far I prefer the Forester, but G likes the Outback better. I have the final say. I'll look them both over really hard and then decide.

G and I both liked the Subaru sales guy too.  Although...at the beginning he said his father was Belgian, and by the end his father was an Austrian Jew. But that's salesmen for you.

Here's the Forester:

Here's the Outback:

Whatever we choose, it will be white.
