Yard Art

When we got home from swimming and shopping, I found a zebra moth by the porch light of my rent house last night. It's semi-technical name is Zebra Conchylodes.

My landlady has planted some pretty purple flowers by the driveway. They attract a lot of interesting bugs. Yesterday a Spotted Cucumber Beetle parked itself in one of the blossoms. I hadn't realized that the flowers have such beautiful purple fuzz until I looked at this picture.

A bee-style bug that I call a Black Butt Bee was also puttering around the purple flowers.
