Arrgh! What does this mean! I just want to try posting. I already don't like doing this.
But maybe it will get easier.
Don't be afraid. Sometimes LJ gets tired. To safeguard, I usually copy everything so I won't have to re-type if something goes wrong. I noticed this happens often in "rich text".
Thanks for the info. I'm a newbie to Live Journal. You just gave me my first reply. :> Thanks.
So you like Kerrville, eh? Bet you're jonesing for it just like the rest of us. Where do you camp?
I camp with Camp Moco Verde. We're uphill from Camp Calm and down hill from the road to the Threadgill Stage.
I was out at the ranch this past Fri-Sun for the work weekend. I had fun.
Camp Moco Verde: the stuff legends are made of.
I'm "third generation" Kerrvert... my grandparents started patroning the festival in the 4th year. About 7 years ago, my mom founded Camp Nutty Brown Road, one of the "Meadow Mite" sites. My husband and I kind of float between her camp and that of our friends, Camp Chupa Tequila (and if you've ever been offended by Chupa, please know it wasn't personal!).
I love finding fellow Kerrverts online. I'm sure the ranch was absolutely stunning this past weekend!
Moco Verdites are pretty hard to offend. In fact, we've done our share of offending a time or two.
I'm glad I found you. At first I dodn't realize that my interests list would turn to links. That's pretty cool.
Come find me at the festival. I'll be in a white Nissan pick-up with a white aluminum camper with a red stripe. The camper often has lots of cloth hanging all over it for shade and dark (so I can sleep late).

You know you're interested in a lot more than that list. Carnivorous ponies, ladies under houses, trout fishing, cats, trying to decide where to live. I think your LJ is very modern. I want one too. Is this the same as a blog? Rosie read me the Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock (TS Eliot?)tonight and it was wonderful. You probably read it already but if not, do now. Friday is Poem in Your Pocket Day in NYC. Everyone is supposed to carry a poem with them and share it with who ever they want. I'm going to carry one, don't know which yet, but I'm not sure I'll be bold enough to share it. We'll see.
