Music Is Good Music

Dear Diary,

Today I am a bad feminist. I really like the song Cyclone. (Clicking on the link will take you to the artist's page where the song will start playing.)

This song totally objectifies women. But it's a great celebration of that moment that a young guy discovers what just looking at a sexy woman can do. And it's got those cool cat noises. I love them.

If you have the time, I suggest you click on the link above and listen to the song. The cat noises come toward the end.

For those whose connection is too slow, here's a part of the lyrics so you can see the "objectifying" aspect. But without hearing the cool cat noises, you'll never really get the big picture:

She moves her body like a cyclone
And she makes me wanna do it all night long
Going hard when they turn the spotlights on
Because she moves her body like a cyclone
Just like a cyclone

She moves her body like a cyclone
And she makes me wanna do it all night long
Going hard when they turn the spotlights on
Because she moves her body like a cyclone
A mighty cyclone

Now look at that peppa'
On the back of that bumpa'
She aint even playin
When she's shakin that rumpa'
And oh, you aint know?
She gets lower than a muffla'
Even with her girlfriends
Show stopping with a hustla'
