I want a rebate

After 8 years of Bush, I want my rebate to cover his costs.

What is your opinion about either of these two. I'm going towards Obama because he didn´t vote to support the war. I´ll vote in the primary but my experience with primaries in Austin is that the precinct heads have already chosen their candidates before anyone votes.

A Woman's Touch

It's close, but I think I'll vote for Hillary because she has no testosterone. Also she know the ropes.

I'm disappointed about the war vote thing too. But I think she will be better at doing what needs to be done to get us out and start to fix the damage.

They both know we need to get out. But she has more contacts and experience. Also, having an ex-president for a husband gives her an edge in terms of advisors.

You Could Do This

From today's Austin American-Statesman:

Could you tell me how one goes about becoming a delegate at the presidential conventions? - O.M.

Start local. The night of the March 4 primary, both the Democratic and Republican parties will hold precinct conventions where delegates will be elected to attend the senatorial district or county convention. The Democratic precinct convention operates as a caucus where attendees separate according to which candidate they support, while the Republicans select delegates without candidate affiliation. From the senate district convention, delegates are elected to attend the state convention, and the state convention choses delegates to attend the national conventions. To attend a party's precinct convention, you must have voted in that party's primary. The convention usually takes place at the polling place. For more information, visit www.texasgop.org or www.txdemocrats.org.
