I realized that I forgot to review the latest Indiana Jones movie. This is yet another movie that does exactly what you expect it to do. It was fine but not great. There are no real surprises, and no fantastic moments, it was just like the other Indiana Jones movies. If you liked them, chances are you'll like this one too. And for me, I like having main characters that I can relate to. In this case, as with books that have a competent woman as the main character, it was nice to see someone my age doing all those adventurous things. The young guy was OK, but Harrison Ford totally held his own and he still has that cute lopsided grin.
There is no reason to see this one in the theater. It will be fine on the small screen. |
