So my landlady called a furnace repair guy who went up in the attic and discovered that the pilot was lit. So he had me turn my heat on and it worked. This resulted in me having to sit through a lecture on how to use the thermostat. My landlady is pissed. I don't think she's mad at me, she's just justifiably mad at having to pay $60 just for the repair guy to check that the pilot is lit.
No one seems to believe me that the heat wouldn't go on this morning. Arrrrgh!
But at least it's working now. Hopefully it will stay that way all winter. |
