HURRAY! And what a beautiful afternoon for it, too. I see a little tree trimming was called for. It was worth it to get a professional to put it onsite for you, wasn't it?
I'm really glad I got an expert. He was incredible. For the final positioning onto the pad, he had to jockey back and forth between the outhouse and a tiny red oak tree that I planted a couple of years ago. He was so careful, you'd have thought that tree was the most precious thing in the world.
I bought a pole saw and my yard hippie trimmed the trees at the pad and on the street by the house. I did a bit more down the street. Then the sellers came with a chain saw and cleared the road down by the highway. The yard hippie was sad to have to cut the branches so he was really careful. The sellers are wildlife people and were very careful with their trimming too. So the road is clearer, but the trees didn't lose any more foliage than was necessary.
I'm going to get at least one big storage building out there while the road is cleared enough to make it possible.
OMG! IT FIT IT FIT AND YOU"RE THERE AND OMG!
Yes! It's so amazing!
Actually it's there and I'm here. My sister's visiting and she wanted to cook dinner with my son. So we came back to my rent house. I hope we can sleep out there tomorrow night. But I'm patient. The hard part is done.
That is just so cool. I'm happy for you. And I know how much you like being outdoors, and camping, so this seems to a wonderful home solution. And with the wonders of wireless technology, you won't miss much. Yeah!
OK, I figure you've had one if not two nights there now (even if Nan did haul you back to the rent house for a cooked dinner)... report? Night sky? Crickets? Visits by an early-morning raccoon?
It turned out that the "detailing" that I paid for was a more cosmetic clean than I expected. So the tires were shined, but the shower stall still had soap scum all over it. I've hired a friend to do a make-ready cleaning for me. She was supposed to have it done by now, but it seems that something came up. I'm trying to reach her to see if she will get it done by tonight.
In the meantime the battery is dead so I'm reading up on deep-cycle batteries.
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. You should have embedded a video and called it a 'trailer'. Sorry.
