This May Be Good News

Some handymen are retiling the kitchen floor in the house on the land. They just called to tell me that when they pulled up the old tile, the wood underneath was all damp and rotted. They are going to pull it all out and replace it with fresh wood. I told them that after they take the rotted wood out, they need to find the source of the water that is causing the rot so I can get it fixed.

I'm hoping that the rot they found is the source of the musty smell that bothers me in that house and that when they get it fixed, the house won't smell bad to me anymore.

That would be so great.
