As we headed down MoPac I could see a dim wannabe rainbow that got brighter and more defined as we drove south until it was a complete arc with the most vivid colors I've ever seen in a rainbow. It was beautiful.
So we talked about the story of Noah and the dove and the rainbow and what they symbolized. I got G to school about two minutes late and headed back up MoPac. The rainbow was gone, and it was pouring down rain out of a mostly blue sky. It wasn't dark and gray, so visibility was good. The drive home was easy and it was nice to see how green the grass and the trees are getting. It's been so dry for so long. This rain is so nice.
