G and I went to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pizza feast at the Alamo Drafthouse last night. I expected it to be a family affair, with an audience full of kids and their long-suffering parents. But, much to my surprise, it turned out that the audience was mostly 20-somethings and G may have been the youngest person there.
We had a fine time. It was an appreciative audience and the pizza flowed freely. I had one pizza and G consumed two! The movie was what you'd expect from a Ninja Turtle movie and the crowd seemed to enjoy it quite thoroughly.
And I walked away quite enlightened as to the current fan-base for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies.
