I was right that the river had stopped rising, I went to bed at the perfect time. It's drizzly today, but nothing like yesterday. Yesterday, my rain gauge, which can hold over five inches of water, was full to overflowing.

Hi Carol. Did you happen to get a look at Boggy Creek during the storm? I am in Israel until the 15th and am wondering how things fared in our neighborhood.

I didn't see Boggy Creek until yesterday afternoon and by then it was back to normal.

Incredible

That is an amazing surge of water. You can't put all of that into the river's channel so much of it overflowed the banks. How did the land do, that is, how far up did it all go?
