I'm Only In It For The Money

I may be a participant in the UT exercise study described below. If I get in, I'd like to have an exercise partner. Is anyone here in Austin either interested in joining the study (it pays $100) or just interested in exercising with me 3 times a week for a few months, or do you know someone who might be interested in doing it? If you do, please let me know.

Exercise Study:

If you are between 45-65 years and not currently involved in a regular exercise program/routine, but are interested in starting, this study may be for you! This study investigates the impact that exercise may have on cardiovascular and brain health. The study duration is approximately 16 weeks and involves a 12-week exercise program and a few assessment visits. The assessment visits will involve non-invasive measures of cardiovascular health (blood pressure, heart rate, ECG), paper tests of cognition, and brain imaging. Additional measures include items such as cardiorespiratory fitness (VO2 max), body composition (DEXA), and blood lipid & glucose profile both before and after the exercise program. Compensation is $100 and will be paid upon study completion.

We are currently recruiting participants ages 45-65
